hello from Wesley college I am chloe Kavanagh, and I will be bringing you a blog about mobile phones. I will be going through the geography of phones and when they were first used.
A phone is used to receive calls over a radio frequency with in a telephone service area. In 1973 the first phone was demonstrated by john F Mitchell with a handset weighing 2kg. In 1981 they launched the Nordic mobile telephone system, in Denmark finland, Norway and sweeden.       This is a picture of the first ever phone.

Every made phone had the same components example

  • a battery to give the phone a power source.
  • an input mechanism to allow the person to use the phone
  • a echoes screen that when the person types it comes up on the phone
  • also has basic mobile phone services to allow the person to make calls and send texts
